Raising awareness is a good thing but good mental health is something for every day of the year. There can be many reasons why we struggle with our mental health and there should be is no shame in asking for help or acknowledging that we struggling. We all deal with pressures and challenges of life differently, it’s important to find healthy ways to get our needs met. Some pressures and stresses are temporary, situation dependent. Living in a constant state of pressure can be damaging to our health.
On World Mental Health Day, take some time for your own mental health and well being. We can spend time outdoors in nature, spend time with loved ones. It’s important to take care of all aspects of our health. Today might be the day to make an appointment and seek help for what’s been troubling you. Your health and well being is important.
